Message from Ms. Janvi Shah, YJA Midwest Regional Coordinator, 2018-2019
The YJA Mid-West 2019 Retreat will be hosted in South Haven, MI, from February 22 – February 24. Retreats are a great way to meet young Jains while also learning how Jainism applies to us as American youth and how it can be adapted for the 21st century. It will be a weekend filled with fun and thought provoking sessions such as meditation, and discussions about fake meat, Jain rituals, and mental health. Those who are from the ages of 14-29 are eligible to attend.
Registration will begin on January 13th. Phase one price for registration is $90 from 1/13-1/26 and the Phase two price is $100 from 1/27-2/17.
